WELCOME TO OUR PEZ VARIATIONS!

We hope this site is helpful to all you PEZHeads who enjoy collecting variations of your favorite PEZ dispensers.

We will be consistently updating and adding to this site so please check back often.

latest update - December 19, 2009

We collect PEZ dispensers but, we don't collect them all. We have our favorites and stick with those. We try to get every variation there is of the characters we collect. This website will catalog our favorites. Our favorites are of a few different series' spanning the entire history of PEZ so, you never know if we're going to add information about a vintage piece or a current piece.

While we do collect stem variations to a degree, this site is going to concentrate on the heads. We are going to try to get as detailed as we can when showing and describing them. Since stems are too easy to switch we feel our lists would never be completely accurate or reliable. With the heads, there is no arguing the descriptions with photos. In some cases we will discuss the stems. Sometimes a special stem is produced for a particular head or there is a commonality that occurs between a particular head variation and a particular stem.

We've also included a glossary of terms which you will find in the menu above.

While researching, we discovered PEZ collectors have several different ways to describe what an A, B, C, etc. is. We, like many of you, have our own way of cataloging our PEZ. We found a way that is easiest for us. This is the way we are going to present the variations to you. We hope you like the way we have incorporated all the different styles of cataloging we have found and that you find it easy to use. We are not trying to say other ways are wrong or that our way is the best. The best way of cataloging is the way you are happiest with. After all, it is your collection and you're the only one who needs to remember what you have or what you need. We are only trying to help you see all the variations of certain dispenser that exist. We are also trying to help ourselves find out what we are missing with help from you. If you should come across a head we don't have listed, please contact us. We will add your find to our site and give you the credit too if you want.

We've tried our best to keep our lists in chronological order. Please know that some variations were actually produced and put on the market simultaneously. Sometimes an old head would be put on a newer stem too. There really isn't any exact science for some of the variations.

You are welcome to use our photos. This way you can share them on forums when trying to explain a certain variation. You can also upload them to your mobile device so that you have them handy when out hunting.  They may even help you when hunting on eBay. We only ask that you please link back to us when borrowing them and mention where you found them.

Good luck in completing your variation collections!
